Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.09 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the East, circa 130-135. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. ASIA Asia standing front, head to left, her right foot set on prow, holding hook in her right hand and rudder in her left. BMC -. RIC -, cf. 3168 (differing bust type). Strack -. An extremely rare variety. Attractive iridescent toning. Very light marks, otherwise, very fine.
